Tennis Sydney Spring Classic 2026 – That's a Wrap! 🎾🏆
9–11 October 2026 | Rockdale Tennis Club
What an incredible three days of tennis, friendship, competition and celebration!
The Tennis Sydney Spring Classic 2026 has officially come to an end after an action-packed weekend at Rockdale Tennis Club.
From exciting rallies and nail-biting matches to wonderful sportsmanship, laughter and friendships both on and off the court, the weekend was another fantastic celebration of our tennis community.
Despite some challenging weather, we successfully completed another memorable Spring Classic, welcoming players from Sydney, interstate and overseas.
We couldn't have done it without the support of so many amazing people, and we'd like to take this opportunity to say a very big THANK YOU!
A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Community ❤️
Our Players, Friends and Supporters
First and foremost, thank you to every player who participated and everyone who came along to watch, cheer and support.
A special thank you to our interstate friends who travelled to Sydney and our international visitors who made the journey from overseas. We truly appreciate you being part of our Spring Classic.
A huge shout-out to our friends from Amazon Women's Tennis for their wonderful support throughout the event.
And of course, to our amazing Tennis Sydney members, thank you for your continued support!
It was especially lovely to welcome new players, including many experiencing their very first GLTA competition, to see our regular players returning year after year, and to reconnect with familiar faces and long-time members we hadn't seen for a while.
Seeing everyone come together is what makes Tennis Sydney so special.
Our Venue Partners
A big thank you to Team Voyager and Rockdale Tennis Club for hosting us and helping make the three days run smoothly.
We truly appreciate your continued support, flexibility and assistance throughout the weekend.
Our Amazing Volunteers
To every volunteer who generously gave up their time to help at the competition desk, check courts, keep matches moving, assist players and walk countless laps around the venue to make sure everything was running on schedule — THANK YOU!
There is so much work happening behind the scenes that many people don't see, and your dedication and willingness to help made an enormous difference.
We simply couldn't have done it without you!
Our Sunday Social Team
A special thank you to Dwayne and everyone who stepped in to help run Sunday Social, allowing our committee to focus on managing the Spring Classic.
Your support ensured our regular social players could still enjoy their tennis while the competition was taking place.
We really appreciate it!
Our Social Event Venues
Thank you to Erko Hotel and its wonderful team for hosting our Welcome Drinks on Thursday evening, giving everyone the opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones before the competition began.
And a big thank you to Banana Bar at Universal for hosting our fabulous Saturday night Players' Party!
It was a fantastic evening filled with celebrations, dancing, laughter and plenty of fun — a wonderful way to bring our tennis community together away from the courts.
The Tennis Sydney Committee
A massive thank you to the entire Tennis Sydney Committee for your incredible hard work, dedication and teamwork.
From months of planning and preparation to setting up, organising, problem-solving and keeping everything running throughout the weekend, everyone contributed so much to making this event possible.
It was a tremendous team effort, and we are grateful to everyone involved.
A Very Special Thank You to Tim and John! 🌟
We would like to give an extra special thank you to our Tournament Director, Tim, and John, who worked tirelessly to bring everything together.
From managing the competition, draws, schedules and countless challenges along the way to organising a fantastic Players' Party, you both went above and beyond.
The countless hours, effort and energy you put into this event certainly didn't go unnoticed.
Thank you both for your outstanding commitment and contribution to Spring Classic 2026.
We hope you get some very well-deserved rest!

Whether you travelled from overseas, came from interstate, played your first GLTA competition, returned after years away, volunteered, supported from the sidelines or simply joined us for the celebrations — YOU were part of what made this weekend so special!
Every player, volunteer, supporter and organiser contributed to the success of Spring Classic 2026.
See You at Our Next Competition!
From all of us at Tennis Sydney, THANK YOU for making Spring Classic 2026 another memorable event!
