Building the tactical game – Suitable for those players who have developed consistency with serving, ground strokes and return – D, C, B & A grades.
Week 1 – Week 6 Each week there will be drills on all tennis stroke techniques – forehand, backhand, serve, volley, lob, overhead – while also building a more tactical game including achieving more depth; attacking the short ball; serve and volley; cross-court play; returning in doubles/singles etc. The general focus will be on improving your technique and developing your movement and ball placement on shots.
Saturday 2 November – Saturday 7 December 2013 – weather permitting. Rained out sessions will be repeated until all six sessions are completed. Interested Members must be able to commit to the full 6 weeks.
2.00pm – 3.00pm (Coaching) followed by match play 3.00pm – 4.00pm
3.00pm – 4.00pm (Coaching) followed by match play 4.00pm – 5.00pm
Registration and cost

Please note: Preference will be given to those Members who have not participated in previous mpV coaching programmes.
We have a maximum of eight (8) places available. These eight places will make up two groups of four (4). The groups will be allocated by the Tennis Sydney Committee dependent on grade. (A/B & C/D) You must be flexible in the coaching time allocated above.
If there is sufficient interest we will work with Matt to arrange another group with another coach.
If successful, you will be contacted with further details and instruction on securing your place. Deadline to register your interest is Thursday 24 October 2013.
The cost for the 6 week programme will be $90.00 ($15.00 per week).
Payment must be received before the start of the programme.
