Players Party

Every GLTA tournament has a party, and the Peter Deacon tournie is no exception. Celebrate your highs or drown your sorrows with the other players at the Royal Albert Hotel, Surry Hills. Play is scheduled to finish by 6pm so there’s plenty of time to get home and then get to the pub.  Food will be served and is covered in the cost of your tournament entry fee. There’s a paid bar, and if you flirt heavily enough with Dani or Flavia, they’ll probably buy you a drink (just to get rid of you).

Saturday 5 October from 7.30pm at Royal Albert Hotel, cnr of Reservoir & Commonwealth Sts, Surry Hills.

Match Formats

Knock-out events & Round-robin events: All matches up to the finals will be the best of 3 sets, with the 3rd set being a super tie break (first to 10 with a 2 point advantage). The first two sets are normal first-to-6 sets with a tiebreak at 6-6. All final matches (time permitting) will be the best of 3 tie break sets.

The draw and times for first round matches is available HERE

Please ensure you check-in at the Tournament Desk at each venue 15 minutes before your scheduled time.

Good luck to all players and have an enjoyable weekend.
