Hello everyone, I don’t know if this is the right place for this and I’m not sure how to say it, but it’s been gnawing at me for months! I have to get it out.
I’m obsessed with good manners, call me grumpy, but I think there are a few common sense non-rules which some of us don’t seem to appreciate:
1. When you serve make sure that your opponent is ready to receive, not just happening to be somewhere in that corner. Also for the second serve! I know it’s annoying, you have to serve AND pay attention at the same time…
2. When you serve please allow you co-players to get rid of that endlessly rolling first serve ball before you serve you deadly second. For some people it’s inexplicably important not to have balls lying around their feet while they play.
3. When you give balls to who is serving, be nice, toss the balls towards him/her (?). Not important, just you know, kind.
We all share the court, it’s not all about you you you!
