Want to be top dog like the guy in the picture? Yes, you can.
Tennis Sydney is having a new ladder competition for 2011, where a player may challenge any other player above his or her position who is within the challenge range. The legal challenge range is 5 places above each player’s current rank. The challenger and challenged players are responsible for verifying the validity of the challenge.
- If the lower ranked player (the challenger) wins the match, he will take the place of the higher ranked player (the challenged) and all participants who lie between the two players will move down a position.
- If the higher ranked player (the player challenged) wins the match, no change occurs to the table.
The ladder listing will be released weekly with results and rankings (see under Main Menu/Results). You might get to be the top of the pack like Nadal.
